I AM FEMALE MAGAZINE GUEST BLOGGER

Children for Art for Charity

Esse Organic Skincare, an eco-conscious skincare brand promoting a sustainable lifestyle, will be hosting a one day "Nature" themed charity art sale event. The artwork will be painted by children, for children. Proceeds from the artwork will be donated to SHELTER Home for Children in Malaysia. We protect what we love. By encouraging our children to paint the beauty of nature, we are also teaching them to love our irreplaceable Mother Earth. We would like to invite you to come join us on the 19th July at Annexe Gallery, Central Market, to show your support for these amazing young artists and to SHELTER. View the gallery here for the artworks which are available for booking.

Kids from shelter homes from various countries including USA, Canada, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and so many more presented their artwork themed Nature to be sold and raised for charity for the shelters themselves. All you have to do to help these kids is just by purchasing the lovely paintings and you can make a lot of children be happy & feel loved in addition of getting something precious & meaningful artwork to be hang in your space of choice :)

Shelter kids are children who had to be taken away from their previous/original homes due to issues such as abuse, some have been living in the shelter for years and all they have as an inkling of family are the children there themselves & the caretakers. I have once visited one Shelter home in Jalan Gasing for an event, there were foods, performances & games that made the children happy and just to see the smile in their face was just so rewarding.

A beautiful artwork done by Charmaine Ng, 14 years old from Malaysia, called Oblivion. Her inspirations come from the saying :

“We are made to leave a legacy, not a legend..”

It is not what you are but what you do that matters. Let's start by sponsoring these arts and bring these home with you. The children in SHELTERS need your support, and all the young artists need your encouragement too...
