RED pashmina from my mom.
Vogue t-shirt from Uniqlo, Japan.
The Shoplifters harem pants & ruffled back blazer.
Cotton On rubi flats.
We went to The Portuguese Settlement but nothing much there, they say usually there's a performance at night. We got super excited seeing a small little opening to the sea next to a hotel and took pictures there, very touristy of us LOL. Anyway here's some random pics Naz took:
A random building at Jonker Walk;
The floating mosque in one part of Malacca, stopped there for jama' prayer Zohor Asar.
Highway LEKAS, traffic is clear :p unlike PLUS highway lol.
Inspired by the color palette of Creatures of Comfort latest collection, I tried to do color-block outfit. Plus, I really wanted to wear the new maxi skirts I bought at The Mines hehe. Note to self: never ever start packing at the very last minute coz in the end you'll change outfits for like 3 times -_-"

Probably a failed attempt at matching colors and posing in front of other thousands of tourists in Malacca:
Maxi skirt from The Mines.
Peach top from Zara.
Don't know where did pinkish purple pashmina came from, it was just in my closet.
Purple wedges from Nose.
Brown cardigan from Seed.
Vintage dark blue belt.
We stole a baby and took a rickshaw ride around town.
I had fun last weekend visiting Malacca, just wished I had bought the silk pashminas at Jonker Walk. I always over think! Plus I was in a bad mood the whole day hmm... Anyways we rented an apartment at Ayer Keroh for the weekend and did all sorts of touristy stuffs. I'm glad Naz knows his way around coz he lived in Malacca during his uni years for over 5 years and every now & then I'd come visit. Malacca is a very small state so getting around was pretty easy, plus he already knows where to eat really good food in Malacca - asam pedas, gulai masak lemak, roti canai Makcik Penguin, kari Hjh Rahmah omnomnom...
Didn't take much photo coz my Lumix LX3's battery is broken so we only took photos using Naz's iPhone. One more outfit photo in Malacca coming up later :)
Here's a hint:
Shuz invited me to see a fashion show for Festival Malaysia Inovatif last Friday night. Her final year collection was showcased - so freaking proud of you kiddo!! Although we arrived rather late but we did get to see her on the stage with her final look. Mimpi Kita sisters was there too, they did my nikah outfit for my wedding ♥
Beaded shoulder top from House of Allure
Tapered pants from The Shoplifters
Gold flats from Cotton On (RM25 for 2 pairs, bargain!!)
And then lepak session at mamak :) it really has been awhile since we last get together, and now you're all grown up and is a budding fashion designer. Awww tomeynya!
And as usual, webcam photos while waiting for my man to come back from work before we went to the fashion show.
Hope you aren't bored with me yet, went to Malacca last weekend with my family. More photos coming up soon!
Leopard print pashmina - a gift from sweetie pie Adriani when she came to visit me at the hospital ♥
Brown long sleeve - unbranded from The Mines for RM15.
Bow tied pants - Ditsy Dot blogshop, made of silky cotton. LOVES!
Watch - Casio from Urban-Retro.
Wedges - Originally from Nose, a similar design to Marni patent wedges Spring 2008 collection.
What I wore to accompany my man buying a new aviator for himself, went to a few optical shop but in the end he didn't get it. Maybe next time. Initially I wanted to wear my new striped chiffon maxi skirt I got from The Pop Look (great service, I paid online yesterday and they shipped it immediately and I got it today!) along with a maroon long sleeve shirt but suddenly decided I don't look good in maxi skirt coz I'm either too skinny or my stomach is too big coz I simply have no curves on the waist area! Sad :( Low self esteem sometime gets me. So I changed and picked something earthy & natural and it just somehow made me realized this is the style I love, always have and always will. And I really shouldn't change what I like to wear just because I have a hijab on my head, I just have to make things work for me. One legendary epiphany moment there :P
via webcam, I love taking annoying webcam photos. PROOF!
Anyways, this was what crazy loony thing I did when I woke up this morning.
Wore a turban -_-"
Me in my Ilsya Hijab loots - Spring Yellow + Yem + Turquoise; Lace inner scarf from night market; new Rayban specs!! ♥ vintage sweater thrifted from Bandung.
What do you think, does the geeky old school spec suits me? Mom asked why did I have to buy such a large frame for myself, moms -__-". Haven't tested it outside yet, so not sure how it looks as a shade on me. Gonna get photos of that later ;)
Photos taken on my visit to Old Blossom Box as soon as I got my leave from the hospital 2 weeks ago, thanks to a tweet invite from Adriani. The last time I went to Old Blossom Box was during the opening event and boy that was a long time ago. And then I was busy with the wedding preparation, the wedding itself, mini honeymoon and then cancer happened. Hah, I felt like I should come visit Jezmine more to give my support and shop shop shop! Bought two tops for myself and a maxi dress I gave to my sister-in-law, Lia.
Met Baby there and we chatted for awhile about my disease and about her life. Honestly this was our first time chatting in real life, we've known each other through mutual friends online. Baby is a really nice and happy-go-lucky kinda girl, thanks for layan-ing me!
Two tone hijab from IAMJETFUELSHOP (Yuna's shop); Olive skirt from Forever21; Studded belt & scallop boots from The Shoplifters; Guess bag.
This was one of the top I bought at Old Blossom Box that day, worn on a date to Pavilion with Naz about 5 days ago. Love the muted mint color and pearls.
Mint pearl top from Old Blossom Box; GAP inner long sleeves; Zara dusty pink jacket (birthday gift for myself, on sale at RM69.90 weee!); Badger/Anti-Beauty pants; Finks boots; Scarf from a long time ago.
I'm still a bit clueless about pairing up with too much colors in my outfit, as you can see in my previous outfit posts I don't really mix too many colors in one go particularly coz I don't have the talent to do all that mix & match stuffs. Hope I did well on this one, haha :)
Wearing: Lace vintage top a gift from a dear reader ♥, black skinny pants from The Shoplifters, new favorite bag from Glossy Addiction - works a clutch too, scarf was my grandmother's, I really love this scarf I even wore it for my post engagement photo session. And new pair of boots, similar to Finks pink boots ;). It's been a really really long time since I last bought a pair of shoe and after half a year this is a gift for myself, it's really comfortable coz of the fur lining. Of course I tripped a few times but that's predictable considering the height :D
Wore this to go watch Harry Porter & The Deathly Hallows and Unstoppable. Both are definitely thumbs up and a must watch! And then I went to Focus Point and finally made a new pair of prescriptive spectacles, picked out a geeky Rayban from the Wayfarer series with transition lenses - works as shades too!
Love of my life, the most patient and funniest man I know ♥
I'm supposed to be called in to be admitted to the hospital today but they haven't called yet so I guess there's no available beds *cue evil laughter*. More time being at home is always welcomed right? Anyway I'm gonna go through another chemo session, should be 3-4 weeks at the hospital. And then they've set a date for another stem cell collection at the end of December. So yeah that's about it then..
