I AM FEMALE MAGAZINE GUEST BLOGGER

BRIGHT W H I T E

Anja Rubik for Vogue Nippon March 2010.

I love how simply fresh, bright and beautiful this editorial looks. Spoilt for choice I love all the above outfit (Bravo Camilla Akrans for the styling) but most of all I love that pretty lil' veil on the 3rd picture from above.

Random object, but oh hey baby lamb, you look cute and clean and I wanna cuddle you please?

Will post an entry about my solemnization outfit later, all the dresses (solemnization, my reception & his reception) are already in motion. The rest of the wedding preparation? Oh my, I haven't thought about that yet *pause*

I kid! I kid! I'm pressed by time & money but I'll make sure everything flow together somehow!

BRIDE Haute C o u t u r e

Metallic silver & pastel perfection according to Karl Lagerfeld,

How to define it, though? Someone backstage suggested futurism. "I hate that," Lagerfeld shot back. "I don't believe in avant-garde clothes for a future that will never happen. Fashion is always now."

Me & my bloke.

Last year, I would opt for Givenchy's dark studded Haute Couture as my favorite. I do still love sheer flowy & silky cigarette cut harem pants, it's in my blood. But realistically, something sweet and classy with a capital C like these would be like a dream come true for a bride-to-be like me!

& have it done casually in a garden in Paris like this. Parfait.

p/s: but i still do love Givenchy's Spring 2010 Haute Couture, well some of it..

Old Blossom Box ♥

WARNING: PICTURE OVERLOAD.

From writing up her own fashion blog before it was even the IT thing in Malaysia, to joining Project Runway Malaysia, and then opening Old Blossom Box consisting vintage & new stuffs which embodies her own style, working for Marie Claire Malaysia and daringly quit the job and became a fashion stylist for Shila OIAM (& then Intan Ladyana)... This tiny girl's achievement within the past 2-3 years is hands down mucho amazing, I'm utterly awed & inspired and so so proud of Miss Jezmine;

And she just opened up a physical store for Old Blossom Box (thank you so much for inviting me Jezmine!). It was a party full of bows, balloons, cupcakes, polkadots and all things nice. Pictures from last Saturday night:

Kish, Jezmine & me. I love that somehow we look color coordinated, but it was purely coincidental!

Girls that were taken outfit photos by In-Trend magazine (two pictures above from Edi's facebook;

Eka "minnie-mouse" Nazhwa (editor of SIEG magazine & fashionably blogs at Inverted Alpha) | Winner of best dressed, the theme was sweet candy and her dress looks like a yummy Paddlepop Icecream; Nadia "bunny-paddlepop-pumpkin" Hani :P

Me & Fafa, she's interning at Tongue in Chic and has featured me once :) | Kish, two uber friendly fashionsisters (Fira & Dayah) and me. Geez I'm tiny.

Posing for In-Trend magazine, nervous and I probably sub-consciously slipped in a few retarded facial expressions T_T
Was wearing; silk top and poofed polkadot skirt from Blueberry Bangsar, pearl bib necklace from Jujuwitata, Zara heels, a rainbow colored diamante hairband from Mydin, vintage chained clutch from 6teas.

The cutely decorated store:

Sweet-tooth bar, cakes & cupcakes by That Last Slice. So delicious, I only tasted 1 tiny slice of Choc Moist and I'm hooked!

The mini fashion show:

I love the lime green tutu skirt!

All in all, it was a great event and once again I'm very proud of you Mine, and you are such an inspiration to all of us ladies. Congratulations Old Blossom Box!

Naz the fiance surprised me by sneakily buying a vintage silk scarf from OBB for me, coz he thinks I like wearing scarves now... awwww. I heartchu big time panda. Thank you so much for driving me to the event, being my official photographer and mingled with my girlfriends ♥

p/s: Emmy said I looked like Maggie Gyllenhaal in the movie Secretary, yes/yes?

RANDOM s h o t s

Last weekend; I look positively tired in the middle picture hence a white box to cover up the face. I wore; Leopard print jacket from Miss OCD, black lace trim tank top, vintage brown belt, drop-snap pants from The Shoplifters, faux Chanel flats from Japan, studded quilted chained bag from Us Us Us Clothing.
Vintage round glasses, found at Cash Converter a few years back, a French brand Façonnable. Previously worn in this shoot.

Pictures from the day we went out for fabric hunting at Jakel & Nagoya. I tied my hair to the sides, like a lil prairie girl or better yet Ogy from the 70's like Amir said.

*pictures from Iman's facebook.
The day my highschool friend got hitched and I arrive super (not so fashionably) late but managed to catch the girls just right before they were going home. The bride & groom was nowhere to be seen after I finished eating, assuming they went for a mini photoshoot with the wedding photographer so we went home. Ili's mom still remembers me from the time I slept over at their house ages ago.. Aww! Anyways, hope it's still not too late to wish you Congratulations on your wedding Ili!
My kebaya was a gift from my ex-housemate when I became her bridesmaid on her wedding.

p/s: been so busy with wedding preparations! :( will reply all comments soonish
